About the project
OurAircraft is an independent, community-driven project created and maintained by Joost Welle (Joozd).
The project is intended to be released as open-source software on GitHub. GitHub repository: link coming when the repository becomes public.
Inspiration and independence
OurAircraft was inspired by OurAirports.com, but is an entirely independent project. OurAircraft is not affiliated with, associated with, or endorsed by OurAirports.com or its maintainers.
Data accuracy and licensing
Aircraft information on OurAircraft is community-contributed and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. The project maintainer makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the published information.
When the platform is publicly released, its software and data will be made available under appropriate open licenses, with clear licensing terms and warranty disclaimers. Specific licenses have not yet been selected.
